Solarshield Roofing is proud to announce our Roofs for Heroes – Memorial Day Campaign, where one deserving hero will receive a complete roofing system at no cost.
About This Campaign
This campaign honors the sacrifice of Gold Star Families and the courage of Wounded Warriors.
If you or your family meet the above criteria, or if you know a deserving Gold Star Family or Wounded Warrior, you may apply or submit a nomination below.
Eligibility Requirements
This campaign is dedicated to honoring Gold Star Families and Wounded Warriors.
Eligible applicants or nominees must meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be a Gold Star Family member, defined as an immediate family member of a U.S. service member who lost their life in active duty service, or a Wounded Warrior, defined as a U.S. service member who was injured during active duty service
- Must own and occupy the home
- Home must be located in Pennsylvania
- Roof replacement must be deemed feasible after inspection
How to Apply or Nominate
You may:
- Apply for yourself, or
- Nominate a deserving hero (friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker)
All submissions will be reviewed carefully and respectfully.
Application Window:
March 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026
Recipient Announced:
On or around Memorial Day (May 25, 2026)
Terms and Conditions
No purchase necessary. One recipient will be selected for the Memorial Day 2026 campaign.
Roofing materials, system type, scope of work, and installation details are determined solely by Solarshield Roofing.
The home must be structurally suitable for roof replacement. Some exclusions may apply.
Application period runs from March 1 through April 1, 2026.
ID verification is required, which may include:
- DD Form 214 (Preferred, Redacted Allowed)
- Department of Defense Casualty Documentation
- VA Documentation
- Official Military ID (If Available)
Sensitive personal information may be redacted. Social Security numbers are not required and should not be submitted.
Recipient selection is final.
